strvec: rename struct fields

The "argc" and "argv" names made sense when the struct was argv_array, but now they're just confusing. Let's rename them to "nr" (which we use for counts elsewhere) and "v" (which is rather terse, but reads well when combined with typical variable names like "args.v"). Note that we have to update all of the callers immediately. Playing tricks with the preprocessor is hard here, because we wouldn't want to rewrite unrelated tokens. strvec: convert remaining callers away from argv_array name

We eventually want to drop the argv_array name and just use strvec consistently. There's no particular reason we have to do it all at once, or care about interactions between converted and unconverted bits. Because of our preprocessor compat layer, the names are interchangeable to the compiler (so even a definition and declaration using different names is OK). This patch converts all of the remaining files, as the resulting diff is reasonably sized. The conversion was done purely mechanically with: git ls-files '*.c' '*.h' | xargs perl -i -pe ' s/ARGV_ARRAY/STRVEC/g; s/argv_array/strvec/g; ' We'll deal with any indentation/style fallouts separately. prefix_path: show gitdir if worktree unavailable

If there is no worktree at present, we can still hint the user about Git's current directory by showing them the absolute path to the Git directory. Even though the Git directory doesn't make it as easy to locate the worktree in question, it can still help a user figure out what's going on while developing a script. This fixes a segmentation fault introduced in e0020b2f ("prefix_path: show gitdir when arg is outside repo", 2020-02-14). When developing a script, it can be painful to understand why Git thinks something is outside the current repo, if the current repo isn't what the user thinks it is. Since this can be tricky to diagnose, especially in cases like submodules or nested worktrees, let's give the user a hint about which repository is offended about that path. pathspec: add new function to parse file

This will be used to support the new option '--pathspec-from-file' in `git add`, `git-commit`, `git reset` etc. Note also that we specifically handle CR/LF line endings to support Windows better. To simplify code, file is first parsed into `argv_array`. This allows to avoid refactoring `parse_pathspec()`. I considered adding `nul_term_line` to `flags` instead, but decided that it doesn't fit there. The new code is mostly taken from `cmd_update_index()` and `split_mail_conv()`.
