<title>block: partitions: Replace pp_buf with struct seq_buf</title>

In preparation for removing the strlcat API[1], replace the char *pp_buf
with a struct seq_buf, which tracks the current write position and
remaining space internally. This allows for:

- Direct use of seq_buf_printf() in place of snprintf()+strlcat()
  pairs, eliminating local tmp buffers throughout.
- Adjacent strlcat() calls that build strings piece-by-piece
  (e.g., strlcat("["); strlcat(name); strlcat("]")) to be collapsed
  into single seq_buf_printf() calls.
- Simpler call sites: seq_buf_puts() takes only the buffer and string,
  with no need to pass PAGE_SIZE at every call.

The backing buffer allocation is unchanged (__get_free_page), and the
output path uses seq_buf_str() to NUL-terminate before passing to
printk().

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\&lt;k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

Fix the cmdline parsing of the "blkdevparts=" parameter using strsep(),
which makes the code simpler.

Before commit 146afeb235cc ("block: use strscpy() to instead of
strncpy()"), we used a strncpy() to copy a block device name and partition
names. The commit simply replaced a strncpy() and NULL termination with
a strscpy(). It did not update calculations of length passed to strscpy().
While the length passed to strncpy() is just a length of valid characters
without NULL termination ('\0'), strscpy() takes it as a length of the
destination buffer, including a NULL termination.

Since the source buffer is not necessarily NULL terminated, the current
code copies "length - 1" characters and puts a NULL character in the
destination buffer. It replaces the last character with NULL and breaks
the parsing.

As an example, that buffer will be passed to parse_parts() and breaks
parsing sub-partitions due to the missing ')' at the end, like the
following.

By the way, strscpy() takes a length of destination buffer and it is
often confusing when copying characters with a specified length. Using
strsep() helps to separate the string by the specified character. Then,
we can use strscpy() naturally with the size of the destination buffer.

Separating the string on the fly is also useful to omit the redundant
string copy, reducing memory usage and improve the code readability.

Partition scanning only happens on the whole device, so pass a
struct gendisk instead of the whole device block_device to the scanners.
This allows to simplify printing the device name in various places as the
disk name is available in disk-&gt;name.

core.c.  Instead move the prototypes for the detection routins to
