This was leftover from a long time ago and is not longer needed
since the thermal controller setup code was added.  Additional
mucking with the thermal interrupts can cause spurious thermal
events which can lead to unnecessary state changes.

They were added relatively early in the driver init process
which meant that in some cases the driver was not finished
initializing before external tools tried to use them which
could result in a crash depending on the timing.

Track the type of vram on the board and provide a query for it.
User mode drivers and tools want this information for determining
bandwidth information and form informational purposes.

Loading firmware is a rather complicated process, in the end we add a
dependency between the pm mutex and the mm semaphore which results in
a harmless but annoying error message.
