2025-09-20crypto: hisilicon - enable error reporting againWeili Qian1-0/+11
When an error occurs on the device, an interrupt is reported. When the firmware forwards the interrupt to the driver and masks the error. If the driver does not enable error reporting when an error does not need to be reset, the device does not report the error to the driver when the error occurs again. Therefore, after the driver obtains the information, the error reporting needs to be enabled again. 2025-09-20crypto: hisilicon/qm - mask axi error before memory initWeili Qian1-34/+66
After the device memory is cleared, if the software sends the doorbell operation, the hardware may trigger a axi error when processing the doorbell. This error is caused by memory clearing and hardware access to address 0. Therefore, the axi error is masked during this period. As noted in the kernel documentation [1], open-coded multiplication in allocator arguments is discouraged because it can lead to integer overflow. Use devm_kcalloc() to gain built-in overflow protection, making memory allocation safer when calculating allocation size compared to explicit multiplication. 2025-08-30crypto: hisilicon - check the sva module status while enabling or disabling ↵Weili Qian1-11/+52
address prefetch After enabling address prefetch, check the sva module status. If all previous prefetch requests from the sva module are not completed, then disable the address prefetch to ensure normal execution of new task operations. 2025-08-30crypto: hisilicon - re-enable address prefetch after device resumingChenghai Huang1-2/+1
When the device resumes from a suspended state, it will revert to its initial state and requires re-enabling. Currently, the address prefetch function is not re-enabled after device resuming. Move the address prefetch enable to the initialization process. In this way, the address prefetch can be enabled when the device resumes by calling the initialization process. 2025-01-14crypto: hisilicon/qm - support new function communicationYang Shen1-1/+0
On the HiSilicon accelerators drivers, the PF/VFs driver can send messages to the VFs/PF by writing hardware registers, and the VFs/PF driver receives messages from the PF/VFs by reading hardware registers. To support this feature, a new version id is added, different communication mechanism are used based on different version id. 2024-12-10crypto: hisilicon/zip - support new error reportWeili Qian1-0/+12
The error detection of the data aggregation feature is separated from the compression/decompression feature. This patch enables the error detection and reporting of the data aggregation feature. When an unrecoverable error occurs in the algorithm core, the device reports the error to the driver, and the driver will reset the device. 2024-10-05crypto: drivers - Drop sign/verify operationsLukas Wunner1-2/+0
The drivers aspeed-acry.c, hpre_crypto.c and jh7110-rsa.c purport to implement sign/verify operations for raw (unpadded) "rsa". But there is no such thing as message digests generally need to be padded according to a predefined scheme (such as PSS or PKCS#1) to match the size of the usually much larger RSA keys. The bogus sign/verify operations defined by these drivers are never called but block removal of sign/verify from akcipher_alg. Drop them. 2024-09-06crypto: hisilicon/hpre - mask cluster timeout errorWeili Qian1-16/+6
The timeout threshold of the hpre cluster is 16ms. When the CPU and device share virtual address, page fault processing time may exceed the threshold. In the current test, there is a high probability that the cluster times out. However, the cluster is waiting for the completion of memory access, which is not an error, the device does not need to be reset. If an error occurs in the cluster, qm also reports the error. Therefore, the cluster timeout error of hpre can be masked. 2024-04-12crypto: hisilicon - Adjust debugfs creation and release orderChenghai Huang1-11/+10
There is a scenario where the file directory is created but the file memory is not set. In this case, if a user accesses the file, an error occurs. So during the creation process of debugfs, memory should be allocated first before creating the directory. In the release process, the directory should be deleted first before releasing the memory to avoid the situation where the memory does not exist when accessing the directory. In addition, the directory released by the debugfs is a global variable. When the debugfs of an accelerator fails to be initialized, releasing the directory of the global variable affects the debugfs initialization of other accelerators. The debugfs root directory released by debugfs init should be a member of qm, not a global variable. 2024-01-26crypto: hisilicon - Fix smp_processor_id() warningsWenkai Lin1-1/+1
Switch to raw_smp_processor_id() to prevent a number of warnings from kernel debugging. We do not care about preemption here, as the CPU number is only used as a poor mans load balancing or device selection. If preemption happens during an encrypt/decrypt operation a small performance hit will occur but everything will continue to work, so just ignore it. 2023-10-05crypto: hisilicon/qm - check function qp num before alg registerWeili Qian2-7/+32
When the Kunpeng accelerator executes tasks such as encryption and decryption have minimum requirements on the number of device queues. If the number of queues does not meet the requirement, the process initialization will fail. Therefore, the driver checks the number of queues on the device before registering the algorithm. If the number does not meet the requirements, the driver does not register the algorithm to crypto subsystem, the device is still added to the qm_list. 2023-10-05crypto: hisilicon/qm - fix PF queue parameter issueLongfang Liu1-0/+5
If the queue isolation feature is enabled, the number of queues supported by the device changes. When PF is enabled using the current default number of queues, the default number of queues may be greater than the number supported by the device. As a result, the PF fails to be bound to the driver. After modification, if queue isolation feature is enabled, when the default queue parameter is greater than the number supported by the device, the number of enabled queues will be changed to the number supported by the device, so that the PF and driver can be properly bound.
